Infusing grandeur into otherwise drab Monday mornings with five things/ideas/events for the week:

I.  I picked up this adorable cutlery from the San Francisco MOMA shop, and can’t wait to use them for my next picnic on the Marina Green.  You can order the Heart Part Cutlery Kit from the museum store online!

II.  Temperatures in the high 60’s call for summertime food.  I’ll be making this salad tonight to go with grilled salmon.  Simple ingredients - sweet corn, avocado, cherry tomatoes, bacon (yes, bacon) and a squeeze of lemon combine to create the perfect warm weather side.

III.  If you are in the city next week, head to the hottest party in town!  Spring Fling, hosted by the symphony young professionals board Symphonix, will take place at the newly reopened Merchants Exchange Club (one of the first speakeasies in the country decades ago).  Come check out the storied venue, meet pretty people, and partake in the open bar!!

IV.  I’m obsessed with my new lion head bangle from Stella & Dot.  Late to join the S&D bandwagon, I was thrilled to find the gilded bracelet at a recent jewelry party to pair with my Hermes clic clac.

V.  My father sent me this stunning photo of the Bay Area from space over the weekend.  Download the NASA app to find similar images of your neighborhood and favorite places.
