Infusing grandeur into otherwise drab Monday mornings with five things/ideas/events for the week:

I.  I had the pleasure of meeting Anna Anthony of A. Anthony Designs this weekend.  Besides being a complete doll, Anna is also an amazing local designer.  I love her whimsical take on timeless looks, like this studded butter-hued clutch and my personal favorite - the Danielle Dress - a peplum cut with an exposed back.

II.  When you hear “beer-braised shredded chicken tacos,” you don’t presume an easy recipe.  But that couldn’t be farther from the truth!  This delicious dish requires little more than five-minutes prep work, one pot, chicken breasts, salsa verde, and a bottle of Corona.  Perfect weeknight meal when you’re short on time.

III.  If you are a fan of Zipcar, then you need to know about Getaround.  Like Airbnb for cars, Getaround is cheaper (no initiation fees!), more convenient, and more chic (think Porsche Cayenne for $8/hr).  Here’s the gist: you sign up for the app, peruse cars in your vicinity, pick one, and reserve it.  If the car is instant, you are good to go (otherwise you wait for owner approval). Coolest part - cars equipped with Car-Kits allow you to unlock/lock your rental from your phone!!

IV.  I am head over heels in love with the letterpress company Carrot & Stick.  Offering cards, placemats, notebooks, custom stationary, and the cutest placecards I’ve ever seen - C&S provides everything you need to be the perfect hostess.

V.  To my delight (and that of every five-year old in the Marina), the Junior League featured San Francisco’s finest as part of the three-day Fashion Showcase fundraiser this weekend.  The event left me pondering a career change…

Have a wonderful week!!  xx tt
