Infusing grandeur into otherwise drab Monday mornings with five things/ideas/events for the week:

I.  I am obsessed with the print company 20x200.  One of my favorite pieces is this “Salty” print  by Michelle Vaughan.  I framed it with two oversize mats for maximal impact and paired it with my Jonathan Adler custom pillow and a scrumptious chinchilla throw.

II.  While I adore a super chic Paperless Post invite as much as the next girl, some occasions call for the old-fashioned printed version.  For a friend’s engagement party, I created the invitation mock-up and uploaded it to this amazing company that creates postcards that are as beautiful as they are affordable.

III.  After weeks of frigid, San Francisco is experiencing a mild heatwave this week.  I’ll be making this delicious Blackberry Bourbon Smash to keep cool:

- 2 shots bourbon

- Half-cup ginger beer

- Fresh mint (two sprigs muddled, plus extra for garnish)

- Fresh blackberries (4 muddled per drink)

- Splash of soda water

- Twist of lime

- Serve over ice

IV.  I am beyond excited for Opening Night of the San Francisco Ballet this Thursday!!  If you have’t yet, pick up tickets to this much anticipated evening - including a Prosecco Promenade, pre-performance dinner, an unforgettable ballet, and a raging afterparty!

V.  The Obama women rocked it today at the presidential inauguration.  I was particularly thrilled to see Malia sporting my favorite J. Crew coat.  I’ve had it in crimson for years, and still receive compliments every time I wear it!

Have a wonderful week!!  xx tt
