Infusing grandeur into otherwise drab Monday mornings with five things/ideas/events for the week:

I. Jonathan Adler offers the option of designing your own pillows, I chose my monogram (hot pink “E” on one side and a dove gray “C” on the opposite) with a Greek Key border.  They take a few months to make, but the result is well worth the wait!  (After several inquiries, here is the link to my rug).

II.  If you are still searching for last minute holiday gifts, this handsome accordion table from Urban Outfitters would be the perfect addition to any home.  I am utterly obsessed with the brass lion feet.

III.  Be the hit of your office party by making these darling champagne jello shots topped with Pop Rocks.  One package of jello (white grape is recommended), one cup boiling water, one cup chilled champagne, and two packets of Pop Rocks or sprinkles.

IV.  If you are in San Francisco, make a date to visit the ice skating rink at Justin Herman Plaza.  The rink is perched on the Embarcadero, which provides quintessential city views. 

V.  Living in a studio makes it difficult to have a Christmas tree, so this year I opted to hang a gigantic garland instead.  Waking up to the fresh pine smell puts a smile on my face every morning.
